Richards (hereafter Plaintiff) filed a complaint against Defendant Kailua Auto Machine Service (hereafter Defendant) for damages to her 1984 Pontiac Fiero automobile (hereafter vehicle) allegedly caused by Defendant's negligent repair of her vehicle in January 1990. Plaintiff's complaint also claimed breach of contract and of warranties based upon the same allegations.
